As I turn 39 and complete the last year of my 30’s, I am very aware of a new mindset that comes with age and experience.

I’m a photographer on a mission to embrace aging with vulnerability and empower women through my lens. Despite my discomfort in front of the camera, I'm determined to change that this year.

I lost myself many times through motherhood and I'm now reclaiming my identity and inviting others to join me.

Recently, I had a photoshoot that shifted my perspective. I realized that celebrating myself isn't about perfection but about embracing who I am.

 I want to capture the beauty and strength of women who, like me, are on a journey of self-discovery.

Empowering women 40 and over to step into their power
and embrace aging through a luxury portrait experience

WHAT IS THE 40 OVER 40 PROJECT?

The 40 Over 40 Project is about empowering women in their 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond. It's about starting a conversation around the beauty of aging and changing the way we define it. Our purpose is to help women fall more in love with themselves, embrace and celebrate their bodies, wrinkles, grey hair and help change the way society views beauty.

Our studio will be photographing and interviewing 40 women over the age of 40 throughout 2024. The photoshoot experience will include a full makeover by our professional hair and makeup artist, a guided portrait session (we can do headshots, branding, glam, boudoir or a mix), a feature in our upcoming published magazine ‘Over 40 And Fabulous’, and 2 tickets to our exclusive and private gala.

Not only will this project help empower 40 more women, it will also help support charity. $50 from each session will be donated directly to our chosen charity, totaling $2000 at the end of the project!

IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE YOURSELF AND INSPIRE OTHERS THROUGH YOUR STORY. APPLY TO BE A PART OF THIS YEAR’S 40 OVER 40 PROJECT.

The session fee is only $590 and includes:

  • We want you to not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful as well. We’ll make sure you leave the makeup chair with a huge smile and a new confidence!

  • What does your dream photoshoot look like? Each session is customized to our client’s needs, for an effortless and enjoyable experience. We will guide you through the entire process, from wardrobe design to posing. Come enjoy a full make-over experience and create beautiful portraits that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

  • 1 high resolution digital image and a matching “matted 8x10 print” is included in the $590 session fee. Additional images are purchased separately at your viewing and ordering appointment on the day of your photoshoot.

  • At the end of this project, we will be creating our own “Empower over 40” magazine where we will feature some of your portraits & story!

  • You and your plus 1 are invited to celebrate the magazine launch of “Empower over 40” Celebrating 40 women over 40 and their inspiring stories.

  • $50 from your session fee will be donated to our chosen charity and presented on the night of our gala.
